In a run-down neighborhood, a group of bored teenagers gather around as one of them suggests they start a fire. With no parents around, they don't hesitate to grab gasoline and a lighter. As the flames grow higher, they watch in awe, their initial amusement turning into something darker. Suddenly, the realization of the danger sets in, but it's too late—the fire has spread rapidly, engulfing nearby houses and property. Chaos ensues as they try to contain the blaze, but it's clear they're outmatched. Firefighters arrive just in time to save some of the homes, leaving behind scorched earth and charred memories of a careless act gone terribly wrong.
